Junior High Track Coach

Job Description: Broadus Public Schools has an opening for a K-12 principal. The successful applicant must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with certified staff, classified staff, students, parents and the community. Completes formal evaluations of certified and non-certified staff according to district policy/procedure. Supervises staff according to district expectations/guidelines. Provides educational leadership in creating a school environment conducive to teaching and learning. Supervises curricular programs and manages their review, evaluation and improvement. Conducts staff, student and public meetings as needed/required according to district policy and/or practice. Supervises the development of the master schedule for course offerings and class size. Completes all required reports according to local, state and federal requirements. Develops, implements and monitors a fair and consistent student discipline system. Prepares and implements teacher and student handbooks. Provides general supervision of the high school and elementary school buildings and grounds.
Qualifications: Possess or ability to receive Montana Certification and appropriate endorsement.
Supplemental Information: Broadus Public Schools consists of two separate school districts, Broadus Elementary and Powder River County District High School. District housing will be available. This position will include a contribution of $1679 per month toward the districts family health insurance policy for the 2025-26 school year. Special Education

Job Description: Applicants should possess or have ability to receive Montana Certification with the desire and ability to teach students with special needs for the 2025-2026 school year. The district may consider applicants willing to attain certification as the district offers a program to reimburse educators willing to obtain endorsements. The district has two special education instructors. This position will be serving all or a portion of grades 7-12 at Powder River County District High School depending on the case load at Broadus Elementary School.
Supplemental Information: The district may have staff housing, will contribute $1679 per month toward district’s family health insurance policy, and offers qualified student loan assistance of up to $2400 per year.
